Salam Caterers

Food that honors the occasion.

Salam Caterers cooks for the days that matter in a Muslim household — a walima, an aqiqah, the first iftar of Ramadan — and for the workplaces that host them. Zabiha-sourced throughout, seasoned for a crowd, served with adab.

Menus by occasion

Every gathering has its own menu logic.

An iftar is paced around maghrib; a walima is paced around joy. We plan each menu to the occasion's rhythm, then adjust dishes to your family's tastes. The menus below are our opening frameworks — final menus and pricing are set at your consultation.

Sourcing statement

Zabiha is the starting point, not a selling point.

Every meat we cook — chicken, beef, lamb, goat — is hand-slaughtered zabiha, bought from suppliers whose certification we have seen and keep on file. We do not mix sourcing by dish: if it leaves our kitchen, it meets the same standard.

We know families differ on certifiers and scholars' opinions. Ask us anything at your consultation; we will name our suppliers and show their current certificates rather than ask you to take our word for it.

  • One standard, whole kitchen. No non-zabiha meat enters our prep areas, fryers, or grills.
  • Named suppliers. Supplier and certifier named for each protein, with certificate dates, at consultation.
  • No alcohol, anywhere. Not in marinades, not in desserts, not in the vanilla.
